Platform Holly
Platform Holly is scheduled to be removed by the State of California. Decommissioning and removal has been found by recent studies that it will reduce the overall fish population in the area by as much as 95%. The shutdown of the operations has already caused higher oil and gas seepage activity in nearby natural seeps that are connected to the same oil reservoir that was being produced by this platform.
